Franchisees/Fulfillment Provider/Corporate-Owned Locations
If you book a reservation to be fulfilled by a franchisee or fulfillment provider in another country or an Enterprise corporate-owned location (e.g., in the United States, Canada, Germany, Spain, France, Ireland and the United Kingdom), we will transfer your personal information to our franchisee, fulfillment provider or local affiliate in that country in order to facilitate your requested transaction.
Enterprise Global Information Systems Based in the United States
Enterprise maintains its global information systems in the United States. If you provide us or if we collect personal information about you outside the United States, we will transfer and maintain your personal information in the United States.
For residents of the UK, EEA, and Switzerland, when we transfer your personal information and process it in the United States, we do so in accordance with U.K.- and European Commission-approved standard contractual clauses.
Third Party Service Providers
We utilize third party service providers who are located outside the countries where we have corporate-owned locations, such as call center support, claims processors and IT providers. For data transfers out of the UK, EEA, and Switzerland, we utilize U.K.- and European Commission-approved standard contractual clauses.

EU-U.S. Privacy Shield and Swiss-US Privacy Shield
Enterprise does not rely on the Privacy Shield but continue to keep to the commitments that we made when we certified to the Privacy Shield. Enterprise Holdings, Inc. complies with the EU-U.S. Privacy Shield Framework and Swiss-U.S. Privacy Shield Framework as set forth by the U.S. Department of Commerce regarding the collection, use, and retention of personal information transferred from the European Union and Switzerland to the United States. Enterprise Holdings, Inc. has certified to the U.S. Department of Commerce that it adheres to the Privacy Shield Principles. If there is any conflict between the terms in this privacy policy and the Privacy Shield Principles, the Privacy Shield Principles shall govern. With respect to personal information received or transferred pursuant to the Privacy Shield Framework, Enterprise Holdings, Inc. is responsible for the third parties acting as an agent on its behalf, including the onward transfer liability provisions in the Privacy Shield Principles and is subject to the regulatory enforcement powers of the U.S. Federal Trade Commission.
